Mike was a Veteran of the United States Navy, having served from 1970 to 1974. Mike studied at the Culinary Arts program of Sullivan University and worked at various positions in the Louisville, KY food service industry. Later, Mike served as an independent vendor for Real Time Products, Inc.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, his mother, Ann C. Mauermann and his step father, Robert Mauermann.
Mike is survived by his siblings; James Herbert Neidner, Janet Neidner Hocutt and David H. Neidner; nieces and nephews; and his step-family in Louisville, KY; Karen, Gary, Sue and Derek Mauermann and Tyler Lee.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Highlands Funeral Home in Louisville.
