Charles Edwin "Charlie" Norton, 39 and holding, of Homer, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025.
Born on July 15, 1953, in Demorest, he was a son of the late J.D. and Lillie Mae Smith Norton. Charlie retired from Ethicon – Johnson & Johnson with 35 years of service as a needle technician. If he could help you or share with you he did without hesitation. Charlie Norton was a lover of life. He had a passion for working hard and living each day. His first love was baseball. He spent much of his youth and early years perfecting his pitching skills as a south-paw and eventually pitched with the minor leagues on various teams. Over the years of his life, Charlie poured into the lives of countless people both on and off the baseball field. Charlie Norton leaves behind a host of friends and family who will forever treasure his legacy of love and kindness.
