Charles Olmsted, 89, of Bonne Terre passed away Monday, September 22, 2025 at Parkland South, in Farmington. He was born April 27, 1936 to the late Myron George and Leona Belle (Cox) Olmsted. Charles loved classic cars but his real joy was spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, George Olmsted and Ellen Kottwitz.
He is survived by his son, Charles “Chuck” Olmsted, Jr. and wife, Kimberly; daughter, Julianne Olmsted; granddaughter, Lydia Olmsted; step-grandchildren, Zachary Hagerty and wife, Chasity, Ashley Jones and husband, Steve; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Carter, Molly, Wyatt, Olivia; brother-in-law, Cleo Kottwitz. Also surviving are special nieces and nephews, John, Mark, Ann, Kristy, Dana, Greg, Brad, Susan. And his girlfriend, “My Sweetheart”, Peggy Bradley of Esther, MO.
A graveside service will be held at Bonne Terre Cemetery, Bonne Terre, MO. on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 12:00 pm. Arrangements are under the care and direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
