Charles LeRoy Ormanovich 76, was born on April 5, 1948 in Midland Michigan to Doris (Curtis) Ormanovich. He departed this life on March 13th 2025 joining his brother Luke Ormanovich who departed this same day 17 years ago. Charles passed away peacefully at home with family by his side after many years of struggling with medical illnesses.
Charles was a hard working man that always had to stay busy doing something or helping someone. He worked many years at Modern Septic tank, Russon's Furniture and Bait, The Garbage company and eventually had to retire from Habitat for Humanity. He then mowed lawns and shoveled snow for his neighbors until he couldn't any longer.
Charles loved hunting, fishing, camping, popping big bags of popcorn for the races, drive in theaters, or just taking off on a car rides. He would just go where ever it would take him. He loved collecting model cars and airplanes, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Charles has 3 daughters Tonda Marie Ormanovich, Charlee Ruth Ormanovich, and Dorothy Michelle Ormanovich. He always wanted sons, but was blessed with girls, so he had to compromise and teach the girls things you would teach your sons. Like how to fish, work on cars, watch the races; we were girls though, so that's where we drew the line.
Charles leaves behind his wife Sandra Kay (Bradshaw) Ormanovich whom he married on August 5,1999. They were married for 25 years. Charles then gained 3 more daughters. Cindy Tinney, Hope (Mike) Hamacher, and Janice McKinny. Charles has 27 grand children, 29 great grand children and many nieces, nephews, cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
Surviving are his sister Doris (Carl) Ormanovich, Sister-in-laws Louann Molby and Sherry Bresson and Step Mother Janet Bresson.
Proceeding him in death are his Father Louis J. Ormanovich, Mother Doris (Curtis) Ormanovich Birth Father Franz Bresson, Brothers Luke Ormanovich and David Bresson, Sister Carla Rhoda, Brother-in-law William Carl, Grandson Charles Edwards and Granddaughter Ashley Latora.
Celebration of life service will be held on June 28th at 2:00 at Prarieview Park pavilion 1 Pastor Hedgel Perry from Living Hope Ministries Warsaw Indiana officiating. 899 E. U Ave Vicksburg Mi 49097. There is an entrance fee of $5.00 per vehicle.

I remember when Chuck talked me into going deer hunting at Yankee Springs. We took his pickup truck with a attached camper. I went out early in the morning, I found a doe that had been killed. I dragged it up to the campsite and Chuck went to gut it, that darn deer jumped up, that didn't stop Chuck, he took the deer down and killed it and then finishing gutting the deer. Neither of us had a doe permit, we panicked, threw the deer into the back of camper and got the Hell out of there. We did allot of stupid things throughout the years, I am going to miss him.
