Charles Pinkman Obituary
Charles W. Pinkman, 89 of Kansas City, Mo passed away on December 1, 2024 surrounded by loving family. Charles was born on April 28, 1935 in Humansville, Mo to Nathan and Madeline (Brubeck) Pinkman.
Charles grew up in Stockton, Mo. He graduated from Stockton High School. Charles proudly served in the US Navy as a frogman until 1963. Upon discharge he returned to the Kansas City area where he lived the remainder of his life.
Charles retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglass and went on to work for Valley Hope of Atchison, Ks until his permanent retirement in 1998.
Charles served as an inspiration to others seeking sobriety and proudly remained sober himself for 45 years.
Charles wed Mary Ann Fulcher on December 2, 1978. In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by 3 sons, Colin Pinkman, Cameron (Janna) Pinkman, Clayton (Cheryl) Pinkman and 2 stepdaughters, Carla Scarborough and Vicki (Kevin) Parr. Charles was a proud Pop Pop to 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A memorial service to honor his life will be held Saturday December 14, 2024 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Shawnee Town Hall 11600 Johnson Dr. Shawnee, Ks 66203. Lunch will be served. Memorials may be sent to Valley Hope Atchison, Ks.
