Cathie Cocklin, 72, of Independence Missouri passed away November 7 ,2025, with her husband next to her. In lieu of flowers, please donate in honor of Cathie to a hospice facility of your choice.
Cathie was born and raised February 20, 1953, the daughter of Bob and Louise Pierce in Kansas City. She graduated from Raytown South class of 1971. While working at the IRS she met and later married in 1972 to Richard Cocklin Jr. She later divorced and remarried Richard in 1984. Together for 41 wonderful years.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She was survived by husband Richard and son Richard Robert.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of the Groves, Rosewood, and One Community Hospice & Palliative Care for providing compassionate care in her final days.
