Robin Lea McCarty, 62, of Independence, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her home on November 5th, 2025. Born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 6th, 1963, Robin was a dedicated wife and homemaker for over 40 years of marriage. She homeschooled all three of her children, was always active in church and served as a mentor for several women throughout her life. She was an avid cook and baker and an ardent reader who could routinely finish 4-5 books a week. She loved traveling, going on adventures around the city, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Robin will be remembered for her generosity, her strong will, and for her loving and humble spirit.
She is survived by her husband Larry McCarty, her sons Tyler and Grant (Tori) McCarty, her daughter Olivia (Jorden) Camel; two grandchildren Jonas and Juniper “Lainey” Camel; her step-father Ron Bond; two sisters Angie Sims and Lesa Esposit. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Fletcher and mother Margaret “Meg” Bond.
