Henrietta – On July 24, 2023 at the age of 74 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Irene Resch; and mother and father-in-law, George and Dolores Gleason. Charles is survived by his wife of 51 years, Debra (Gleason) Resch; children, Tracy (Chris) Lorenzo, Susan Valone; grandsons, Julius Lorenzo and Charles Valone; brother, Bernie (Anne) Resch; brothers-in-law, Robert (Laura) Gleason, Thomas (Jasmine) Gleason and David (Jodie) Gleason; sisters-in-law, Diane Gleason and Linda (Steve) Rioux; many nieces, nephews, dear aunts and cousins.
He worked for over 20 years for the Prudential insurance company in the Webster area. He worked for over 30 years for the Bobby Insurance agency. He was a member of Rochester Brooks gun club. He was a women's softball coach at Mercy high school and also private leagues. He had a great love for hunting and fishing, bowling and avid Yankees and Miami Dolphins fan
Family and friends may call at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, 3325 Winton Road S., Friday. August 4, from 4-7 PM. Charles' Funeral Mass will be Saturday, August 5, 11:00 AM at St. Agnes Church, 96 Prospect St., Avon, NY. Interment to follow at Ascension Garden Cemetery. Kindly consider donations in Charles' memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

So sad to hear this. Chuck was a fellow classmate with us at St. Boniface Grammar School. We were able to be with Chuck at our 50th SBS + 1 Reunion in 2014. So glad he was able to be with us and share some memories.

I got a call and I was like hey Chuck expecting to hear your friendly voice and man what a shock that was hearing the sad news. All I can think that God definitely needed an angel like you up in heaven. It was a blessing knowing you all of these years and thank you for being the best always. You´re going to be missed terribly Rest in heaven my friend until we meet again.

I am shattered at this news. Chuck you will be missed. You were the best insurance dude ever for my folks and then me and my siblings. You gave as good as you got. Sometimes it was beyond hilarious, like the day you stuck your head out the back window when Annie and I were working on the garage roof. You had Dad's fedora on your head and bellowed just like he did. Scared the tar out of us! Laugh! You laughed so hard! So did mom! I've known you so long, yet not long enough.....miss ya....love always, YOUR 'creep'....
