Charles Ray "Pops" Robison, 81, of Denison, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 2, 1944, in Lubbock, Texas, to Boyd Robison and Bobbie Mae Teafateller.

Charles was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Sherry Jeffcoat Robison, with whom he shared 53 wonderful years. He was a proud and loving father to Shonda, Angela, Tonya, Briggetta, Melissa, and Natisha, and a cherished grandfather and father figure to Brittany, Antoine, and Alana.

Known by many as "Pops," Charles was a hardworking man whose life reflected dedication, integrity, and love. For more than 30 years, he worked as a self-contractor and owner of Robison Overhead Doors, repairing doors and gates with skill and honesty. He built his reputation on knowledge, compassion, determination, and trust, qualities that carried over into the way he cared for his family and friends.

Outside of work, Pops enjoyed the simple pleasures of life-playing lottery scratch-offs, watching wrestling and football, napping in his favorite chair, and sharing meals with his family. He loved old movies, music, and classic cars, and could often be found playing computer games alongside his wife. His passions were always shared with his children and grandchildren, leaving behind cherished traditions and unforgettable memories.

Charles is survived by his wife, Sherry Robison; daughters Shonda Gibbs (Kevin), Angela Kennedy (Clay), Tonya Blassingame, Briggetta Dolberry, Melissa Kiefer, and Natisha Robison; grandchildren he helped raise, Brittany Earnhart (Jason), Antoine Robison, and Alana Robison; along with 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many extended family and friends. He will also be dearly missed by his lifelong friends, Larry Collis and Johnny Olmos. He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd Robison and Bobbie Mae Wood, his sister Juanita Robison, and his brother Jerry Robison.

A memorial service honoring Charles's life will be held on August 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Haven Chapel Church, 500 W Walker St. Denison Tx 75020.

Though Pops never sought the spotlight, he deserves to be remembered for the fatherly love and wisdom he shared with so many. He was our anchor, our "go-to" in times of struggle, and the voice of reason when life felt overwhelming. His guidance taught us to stay strong, to think before acting, and to never give up. Because of him, we carry the heart of a lion, the value of hard work, and an unbreakable family bond.

Pops, we will miss you beyond measure. Our world will not be the same without you, but your legacy will live on through us. We will remain forever #RobisonStrong. Rest in love, Pops, until we meet again.
