Rone, Charles Edward "Eddie", age 78, of Mt. Juliet, TN died May 18, 2022. Eddie was born in Smyrna, TN and was the son of the late, Estin Clarence Rone and Gracie Alyne Robertson Rone. He attended Smyrna High School and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Eddie worked in construction for many years and was currently self-employed. He enjoyed building and driving race cars. Eddie was preceded in death by his sister, Faye Coop and son, Glenn Duke.

He is survived by:

Wife of 16 years – Becky Rone

Children – Chad (Gina) Rone, Alan (Teri) Gilliland, Nikki Martin, Debbie Plummer,

Bubba Duke, Teresa Fisher, Jenny (Robert) Allen and

Michelle (Marty) Southerland

Sister – Joyce (Edd) Bland

24 Grandchildren, 31 Great-grandchildren and 8 Great-great grandchildren

Several nieces and nephews



Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. Johnny Minnick and Bro. Dan Cook officiating.

Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Chad Rone, Alan Gilliland, Jonathan Rone, Ashley Rone, Mike Bland and Russell Young.



Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.



Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Saturday and one hour prior to service time Sunday at Bond Memorial Chapel, N. Mt. Juliet Road and Weston Drive, Mt. Juliet, TN. (615) 773-2663. www.bondmemorial.com

Joyce, I am so sorry to hear about Eddie. I wish I could be there this weekend to represent dad´s side of the family and visit and share fond memories of Eddie with you all.
