Charles Alan Rosenblatt
"Chuck" as he was affectionately known, died on May 1, 2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was 89 years old. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 30, 1935 to loving parents, Harold Barnett Rosenblatt and Blanche Winker Rosenblatt. He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, of 62 years, Mazal Ben Avraham and their children Amy Rosenblatt Lui (David Lui), David Ross and Debbie Rosenblatt and grandson, Yonatan Lui. A kind and gentle soul whose sweetness and loving smile put everyone at ease, from his clients through his work as a social worker, to his many volunteer roles in the Jewish Community and beyond. He simply was a mensch. He had two master degrees and a PhD (ABD) in Public Health from the University of Michigan, plus a nursing home administrators license which propelled him forward in his career and always kept him learning. He was a dedicated Jew and Zionist who lived in Israel and who relished the Jewish holiday celebrations with his family and friends. He loved photography, flowers and gardening and had an extraordinary green thumb, fixing anything, watching movies with his grandson, sailing and being near the water, drinking coffee and anything Ice cream. The family requests no flowers and all tributes in Chuck's memory be directed to the wonderful and caring Jewish group home where his daughter Debbie lives, Halom House, 4680 Hunt Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45242, +1 (513) 791-2912. www.halomhouse.com
