Sanford (Sandy) Kalman
May 18, 1933- November 5, 2025
Sanford Kalman, age 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5. Beloved husband of 65 years of Roberta (Bobbie) Kalman; loving father of Faith Reyes (Gary) and Sharon Kalman (Bill Waldman). Brother of Arlene Kohn. Grandfather of Rebekah, Sara, Madeline, and Nathaniel. Papa to Rose, Jack, and Lucas. Family will be available for visitation from 6PM-8PM Friday at The Summit of Blue Ash, 4351 Sycamore Creek Dr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Kennedy Heights Art Center would be appreciated.
Sandy, a first generation American, was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Zoltan and Rose Kalman. Sandy served as a Specialist in the Army Signal Corp at Ft. Benning, Georgia in the late 1950s. Sandy and Bobbie married in November, 1960. They moved to Cincinnati in 1973 and Sandy quickly became an avid Reds fan. Sandy had a passion for art and was a longtime docent at the Taft Museum and a volunteer at the Kennedy Heights Arts Center, where he did outreach at local public schools.
His greatest joy in life was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Sending my deep condolences to Bobbi and Sharon and Faith and their husbands and children. It´s very sad to hear this this kind person has `left the building´, for the time being. A good all-around human being, a terrific husband ... 65 years of marriage to Bobbi, and a loving father and grandfather. And a Reds fan, to boot. A tough loss for the rest of us, left behind in a world that could use more people like good Sanford Kalman.
