Charles Leonard Sherrill, age 83 of Hendersonville, TN passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024. Charles was born in Murfreesboro, TN. He was the son of the late Comer and Mary Woodard Sherrell.
Charles is survived by his two daughters Vanessa Langston (Jesse), Donna Keen (Ricky); one son Chuck Sherrill; brother Charles Franklin Sherrell; grandchildren Jessica Langston, Kyle Langston, Jennifer House, Kimberly House, Zachary Keen (Breanna), Chris Brown, Joey Brown, Chasity Collins, and David Sherrill, several great grandchildren; his significant other Maxine Brown. Charles was predeceased by his parents, daughter Annette Langston, grandson Eli Sherrill, and great granddaughter Faith Collins.
A service to celebrate Charles life will be held at 12pm on the afternoon of Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4pm-8pm on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the funeral home. A second visitation will be held two hours prior to the start of the service on Thursday.
Charles was a giving soul that put others before him. He loved watching NASCAR and going to car shows. He was a member of The Church of Christ. He worked at Prestige Printing for 13 years, G.F Puhl for 4 years and Container Corporation of America/MacMiller Blodel Containers for 17 years. Charles greatest love was his family. He raised his four children on his own giving them the love, shelter, and care they needed. He was the best father and grandfather anyone could ask for. He will be greatly missed and was greatly loved by all
