Charles Sia Obituary

He grew up in Medway and lived in South Boston before moving to West Palm Beach several years ago.
Charles proudly served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a life-long lover of fishing, boats and the water. He loved to talk about his family roots in Medway and the surrounding areas. He could identify every public alleyway in the city of Boston by number. He was a great lover of the L Street beach, its bathhouse and a quick dip in the bay.
Charles tried his best. In his eternal words, "Stay warm and dry."
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carolyn Sia, daughter, Jennifer Sia, step-daughter Rachel Pederson, four grandchildren, his brother James Sia, three sisters, Edna Clifford, Mary Anne Maginot and Helen Sia, and many nieces and nephews.
Charles was predeceased by his parents Angelo and Julia (Farquahar) Sia and his son Justin Sia.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life for Charles on Friday, October 4 from 4 - 6 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway .
