Lee Greydon Steele, 73, of Medway, died peacefully on Monday, August 18, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Brenda (Wood) Steele for the past 40 years.

Born in Worcester on June 18, 1952, he was the son of the late Greydon and Anne (Dugard) Steele. Lee's parents owned Mistover Dairy in Northborough, and Lee grew up delivering milk for the family business.

Lee was a resident of Medway for the past 40 years. He grew up in Northborough, graduated from Algonquin High School, and earned his associate's degree from the former Worcester Junior College.

Lee worked as a truck driver for Interstate Brands Corporation delivering Wonder Bread to stores and restaurants for 28 years before his retirement. He had previously worked as a branch manager at Security Pacific Finance Company.

Growing up, Lee spent his summers at his family's camp at Indian Mound on Buttermilk Bay in Wareham and later at their summer house in Poccasset, where he enjoyed many hours on the family's boat. As a young adult, he was a car enthusiast, his favorite being Corvettes.

Lee enjoyed being outdoors and spending quality time with his wife and children. He loved going on camping trips, hiking in the White Mountains, and relaxing in the backyard pool. He also enjoyed skiing and going on cruises with his wife.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Kaitlyn Selmer and her husband, Patrick, of Franklin and Colleen Goodale and her husband, Dean, of Medway. He has four grandchildren: Evan, Hailey, Emma, and Mark.

He is also survived by his brother, Jeffrey Steele, and his wife, Eileen, of Falmouth, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, August 27th from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway ginleyfuneralhomes.com followed by a memorial service at 6:30 p.m.
