Charles Wayne Singleton, Jr., age 58, passed from this life on Monday, August 11, 2025. Born on September 12, 1966, in Fort Worth, Texas, Charles has taken flight, soaring with the eagles and reunited with loved ones who went before him, including his parents, Charles W. Singleton, Sr. and Bobbie Sue (Fancher) Singleton.
Charles had a deep love for life’s adventures. He enjoyed the thrill of racing cars, the warmth of time spent with family and friends, and the companionship of the many animals who were part of his life. His kind heart and easy smile left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Suzan Elaine Singleton of Wills Point, Texas; sister, Charlotte Sue Singleton; brother-in-law, John; nephew, Riley; and countless friends who loved him as family.
Charles will lie in state on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
A funeral ceremony will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the same location, with visitation beginning one hour prior. Burial will follow at Long Creek Cemetery, 5410 Temple Hall Hwy, Granbury, Texas 76049.
He will be forever loved and missed, yet his spirit will live on in the roar of an engine and the quiet moments beneath a wide Texas sky.
