Charles "Chuck" Stevenson age 58, a beloved figure of Jacksonville, FL sadly left this world March 3, 2025 after a life lived in kindness and family devotion. Born February 20, 1967 in Altoona, PA to Ralph and Margaret Stevenson. He was a hard-working man who provided for his loved ones as a heavy machinery operator for thirty-two years with Beard Equipment Company. In his free time he was an avid hunter and a real outdoors-man who loved being in a stand or on a boat. Chuck was a great man and a blessing to those who knew him. Even though he is gone he is still a beacon of compassion, sincerity and light for his friends and family. Chuck is survived by; the love of his life and wife of twenty-seven years; Trudy Stevenson, and a daughter; Samantha (Bryan) Green, sons; Zachary (Nicolle) Stevenson and Ashton Stevenson. He is also survived by his five granddaughters: Avah Cobb, McKynzie Green, Gracyn Green, Sophia Stevenson and Valerie Stevenson.Chuck is preceded in death by; his father Ralph Stevenson and his mother Margaret Dunn Stevenson. He is also preceded in death by his son Mathew John Stevenson.A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 between the hours of 2-6PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216.
