Patricia Eileen Hardeman "Pat", passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Jacksonville, Florida and attended Ribault High School – Class of 1968. Pat met the love of her life, Joseph Franklin Hardeman, Jr. and they married on December 28, 1966. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmommy. Always putting everyone first and before herself. She had a heart of gold.

Pat began her career with Ray Moore State Farm and transitioned to Baptist Medical Center, where she retired in 2015. She supported Joe in his military career for more than 17 years. They were able to meet a lot of friends and travel to many duty stations. She also supported Joe in his 25 year career with Jacksonville Sheriffs Office. In 1991, she gave Joe her blessing when he purchased a Gold Wing Motorcycle and they toured the United States and Nova Scotia / Prince Edward Island, 4 trips to Colorado and 1 trip to California.

Preceded in death by her parents, Jack Toohey & Marguerite Gilbert Reynolds and twins, Tammy Jo and Billy Joe.

Surviving family include her husband of 59 years, Joe Hardeman; 2 children: Joe Hardeman (Renee) and Lori McIntyre; 2 granddaughters: Michaela & Reagan; 1 great granddaughter: Veronica; 2 brothers: Darrell Toohey (Chazz) and Jody Willis (Melody) and a host of friends. She has a white Bischon Poodle that she was very much attached too.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Peeples Funeral Home with Father Leon Roberts, officiating. Her family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
