Gerald Glenn "Gerry" Hardeman Jr., beloved husband, father and grandfather, 65, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in Amarillo. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Wade Funeral Chapel in Hubbard, Texas. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Hubbard. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the funeral home. Gerry was born December 14, 1959 in Hillsboro, Texas to Gerald Glenn Hardeman and Beverly Jo Miller Hardeman. He was a 1978 graduate of Richfield High School in Waco and a 1980 graduate of Navarro College for welding. Gerry was a truck driver for Tribe Transport. Gerry lived in Hubbard for the past 50 years where he was a longtime member of the Hubbard Methodist Church. Gerry loved spending time with his family and was his children and grandchildren's biggest supporters. He loved watching them in sports, dancing and ag. Gerry was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Missy in 2016; his parents; grandparents who raised him, Lorraine and Bill Miller of Hubbard; and his uncle, Frank Phillips. Survivors: Wife of 44 years, Karon Sealey Hardeman; daughter, Pamela Sue King and husband, Brett of Hubbard; grandchildren, Cash Hardeman King and Steely Sue King; aunt, Pat Phillips; and numerous other family members. Memorials may be made to the Hubbard Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Scooter Choate, Brandon Childre, Jim Ed Garren, Mark Timmer, Lionel Serna, Hayden Wilks and Kevin Willis. Honorary pallbearers will be Teddy Monthey, David Watson, Jason Patrick, Dillon Leonard and Grady Reinke.
