Charles Edward Stitcher

Charles Edward Stitcher passed away August 2, 2025, at his home in Moreland. Charles was born in Newnan on January 8, 1951. His parents, Bill and Julia, and his brother Russell preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Mary, of 50 years, and his daughter, Amanda, and granddaughters, Cierra and Alexis. Charles was a great Papa, and he would do anything for his family. Charles also has three sisters, Elaine Moore (Wayne) of Moreland, Peggy Brown (Tony) of Newnan, and Mary Jane Birdsong of Grantville. He has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and people he considered family. Charles was employed at Suhner Mfg in Rome, GA, for 31 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, piddling in the yard, or riding his tractor. Charles and his granddaughters loved going to Turkey Shoots. If it were for granddaughters, it would be fine with him. Visitation will be Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at McKoon Funeral Home, 38 Jackson Street, Newnan, GA 30263.
