Robert Earl Stitcher

Mr. Robert E. Stitcher, 70, of LaGrange, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Hospice LaGrange.
Mr. Stitcher was born February 18, 1953, in LaGrange, son of the late Homer Buford Stitcher, Sr. and the late Betty Koonce Stitcher Suggs. He was employed for many years as a truck driver for Seven Hills Transport and later worked as an electrician. He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, fishing, and restoring old cars.
Survivors include his son and daughter in-law, Cecil and Brooke Stitcher of Adairsville; brother, H. B. Stitcher, Jr. of McDonough; sisters and brothers in-law, Esther and Johnny Bolt of LaFayette, AL, Tammy and Thyrone Johnston of McDonough; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Haney of Franklin; eight nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Reese Stitcher.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 2, at the graveside in the Stitcher Family Cemetery on Stitcher Rd. in Hogansville.
