Charles Arthur Tisher, 93, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on September 28, 2025, in Springfield, Missouri.

Born on September 4, 1932, in St. Louis, Missouri, Charles entered the United States Army at a very young age, proudly serving his country as a veteran of the Korean War.

Following his military service, Charles dedicated himself to his family and their business, Tisher Moving and Delivery. As a self-employed mover and deliveryman, he delivered specifically for United Health Care Pharmacies. He retired from Amerisource in Joplin. Charles worked tirelessly to support those around him and took pride in the work he did.

Charles was a member of the Master Masons and Shriners Hospital International Fraternity, serving as a Shriner's Dad. He was also a member of the Angler's Club.

Charles found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved taking country drives and road trips-always eager to explore the open road. One of his most endearing habits was giving away cashews to others-a small gesture that brought smiles to many faces.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Karen Bell Tisher, celebrating 24 years together; his children: Rebecca (Joe) Nenstiel, Karen (Tim) Buchanan, Cathy Tisher, and Deborah (Miles) Yocom; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM prior to the funeral service that will begin at 12:30 PM at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd, Springfield, Missouri. Deacon Larry Brown will officiate. The Warrior Watch Riders (WWR) will provide a final salute and escort Charles to Clear Creek Cemetery, Greene County, Missouri, where a graveside service and full military honors will be rendered at 2:00 PM.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. - DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory, Springfield, Missouri.
