Charles J. Walsh

Charles J. Walsh, on July 13, 2024, of North Cape May, formerly of Runnemede. Age 83.
Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Walsh (nee Swiatek). Devoted father of Charles Walsh, III (Alice D'Agostino) and Donna Tilotta (Michael Blaszczyk). Loving grandfather of Danielle Trucksess (Zachary), Jessica Tilotta (Luke Wells), Josh Halvka (Laura), Paige Walsh, and Peyton Walsh. Great-grandfather of Griffin, Samuel, and Alexei. Dear brother of the late Joseph and Patricia Walsh and brother in law of Leon Swiatek and Josie Walsh.
Charlie was a retired member of Longshoremen's Local 1566 and International Longshoremen's Association. His true passion in life was his family and music. Charlie, known for being the "Cool Dad", recorded music with many renowned recording artists and was the drummer for "Snaps", "The Balloon Core", "American Dream", and "The Temps." For the last 12 years, Charlie played at Open Mic night at Caroline's in Somers Point.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday evening, July 17, 2024, from 6pm to 7pm at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Memorial service to follow at 7pm. Interment private at the request of the family.
