Charles Lee Warner 82, of Hurricane, WV and formerly of Sistersville, WV passed away on January 6, 2026 at CAMC TV.

Charles was born to the late Lee A. and Evelyn L. Parsons Warner on July 20, 1943 in Charleston, WV. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his nephew, Matt Warner.

He was a 1961 graduate of South Charleston High School as well as a 1973 graduate of WVIT with a Mechanical and Civil Engineering degree, later he proudly served his country in the WVANG 130th earning the rank of Maj. upon retirement. Charles was a member, former deacon and Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church of Sistersville and attended Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church in Hurricane, WV. He was also a member of Tau Beta Pi, WV Beta an honorary Engineering Fraternity, and the National Rifle Association.

Charles is survived by his former spouse and business partner, Jennifer Naylor Warner of Sistersville, WV; sons: Samuel B. Warner of Concord, NC and Curtis L. Warner of Scott Depot, WV; grandchildren: Caroline Warner, Ava Warner, and Samuel Warner; brother, Jim Warner (Mary Ann) of Milton, WV; sister, Jan Warner Ramey (Scott) of Hurricane, WV; sisters in-law: Catherine Naylor and Stephanie Naylor Burks (John); nieces: Kim Warner Davidson, Reese and Rylee Ramey, Jamie Ann Warner, Eryn Gibson Legg, Leah Wallace, Whitney Naylor-Smith, and Jennifer Ann Burks; and nephews: Daniel Murphy and Matt Smith.

Friends may gather and visit the family from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Sunday January 11, 2026 at Chapman Funeral Home Hurricane, WV.

Charles will be buried at a later date on the family farm, Shiloh in Friendly, WV.

Special thanks to Melissa Barker for all her love, support and guidance during this eleven month journey and his niece, Jamie Ann Warner for her tireless efforts in caregiving.
