Charles R. Webb, 81, of Wakeman, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 10, 2025, after a lengthy illness.
He was born on April 10, 1944, in Carbondale, West Virginia, and had been a resident of Wakeman for more than 50 years.
Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Following his military service, he worked for many years at Ford Motor Company in the paint and maintenance department until his retirement.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially fishing, reading, and spending time on his computer.
Charles is survived by his son, William (Cheryl) Breen; daughters, Deborah (Charlie) Huffman, Carol (Frank) Sacramone, Gerrie (Mark) Themar, Karen Wells, and Jennifer Webb; 24 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren, with two more on the way; and his siblings, Stephen “Terry” Webb, Rev. Aaron Webb, James Webb, and Donna Krugman.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Jean Webb; parents, Charles Earl and Pauline (nee Roberts) Webb; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Wells; and siblings, John Webb, Mary Smith, and Larry G. Webb.
Private family services will be held.
