Charles Allen Weydert, age 80, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on December 31, 1944, in Centreville, Mississippi, Charles was a beacon of kindness and joy throughout his life, celebrated as a loyal friend and devoted family man.

Charles was a proud graduate of Zachary High School in Zachary, Louisiana, where he distinguished himself as a letterman in varsity football. Following his education, he dedicated over 30 years to a successful career in the petrochemical industry, ultimately serving as branch manager for Anco Insulations in Sulphur, Louisiana. His striking work ethic and leadership inspired those around him and left a lasting impact on his colleagues.

A devout Christian, Charles embodied the values of kindness and integrity, and his quick wit and charming personality endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a loving and caring father to his two sons, and a proud grandfather. His family was the center of his world, and whether watching LSU football or enjoying karaoke with loved ones, he cherished every moment spent with them.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Albert William and Ruby Allen Weydert, his brother Albert William Weydert Jr., his sister Lorraine Weydert Woodward, and son Charles Bernard "Ben" Weydert. He is survived by his son Brien Weydert (wife Madison) and grandson Benjamin Weydert, who will carry forward his spirit of compassion, laughter, and a curious love for shared stories and experiences.

In accordance with Charles's wishes, there will be no formal service; instead, a private gathering for close family members will be held at a future date to celebrate his life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, reflecting Charles's lifelong commitment to giving back and helping those in need. This charity held a special place in Charles's heart and he contributed often.

Charles Allen Weydert will be dearly missed. May his joyful spirit and loving memories remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
