Charles Blaine Williams, affectionately known as Chuck to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, in his hometown of Evansville, Indiana. Born on April 1, 1961, to the late Barbara and Charles Williams, Chuck's zest for life and love for the great outdoors were evident from his early years.

He attended Bosse High School, Chuck channeled his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit into a successful career in construction. Self-employed, he built a reputation for his dedication to quality and his hands-on approach to every project. Chuck's professional life was a testament to his belief in hard work and integrity.

Beyond his construction endeavors, Chuck was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. His skills were not just hobbies but also led him to win numerous hunting competitions, particularly with his beloved dog, Buster. Chuck's expertise in training coon hunting dogs was well-known, and he took great joy in sharing his knowledge with fellow enthusiasts. Along with training hunting dogs, Chuck had a passion for training horses and horse racing. He often frequented Ellis Park, so much so he knew the jockeys. His love for watching horse racing was often shared with many family and friends.

Chuck's love for the outdoors was matched only by his love for the simple pleasures in life. He was a free spirit who found solace in the tranquility of nature. Golfing was another pastime that allowed him to enjoy the serenity of the green while engaging in friendly competition. His appreciation for country music and old western movies, especially those featuring John Wayne, spoke to his admiration for the classics and the values they represented.

Family was the cornerstone of Chuck's life. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for his children, Daniel and Jessica Williams, and his adored grandchild, Gia Jones. His brother, Rusty, will fondly remember the bond they shared. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jeff, Mark, Shannon, and Trina, who paved the way for him to join them in eternal rest.

Chuck's life was a portrait of a man who embraced every moment with enthusiasm and an open heart. His laughter was contagious, his spirit was indomitable, and his presence was a comfort to all who knew him. As we bid farewell to a man of great character and warmth, we take solace in knowing that his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.

The world is a little less bright without Chuck's radiant smile, but the memories he created with those he loved will forever illuminate the lives of his family and friends. As we honor his journey, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life full of passion, and a life that was a true reflection of Chuck-a man who was as authentic as the natural world he so deeply cherished.

A Celebration of life will be held August 26th with visitation from 11am until service time at 12pm at the Chapel of Peace at Sunset Funeral Home in Evansville In.
