Charles Everett Willingham, age 77, passed away on October 20, 2024, and began his walk with the Lord. He was born January 7, 1947, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ara Willingham; children, Bret Willingham and Shanna Willingham Alexander; brothers, Roy, Bill, Arnold Willingham, Junior Phillips; sisters, Nancy Willingham, Linda, Marie, Faye, and Dorthy.
Survivors include the love of his life, Joy Willingham; grandchildren, Shelby Willingham (Dakkota Hayes), Charlie Willingham (Lillian), Zak Alexander (Gabby), Drew Alexander (Jen); brother, Raymond Willingham (Marilyn); sisters, Ozella Willingham, Shirley Smith; and a host of cousins.
Charles went to Lake Hamilton School. He served in the Army National Guard. Charles was an amazing carpenter and rock master. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting, fishing, and a good ride around on General Jackson. Most of all Charles loved spending time with the love his life, Joy. He truly lived each day to the fullest.
A celebration of his life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26th at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home (155 Section Line Road) with Chaplain Mike Poye officiating.
