Charley Reynolds, 90, of Swannanoa, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Charley was born on March 19, 1935, in Eatonton, GA to George and Trenon Reynolds. He was a veteran of the US Army and served as a Paratrooper. Charley was employed with Ethan Allen for over 23 years and was a member of Swannanoa Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Charley was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, George Reynolds; and sisters, Mary Goss, Betty Reich, and Evelyn Wolverton.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 62 years, Glenda Reynolds; son, Tony Reynolds (Vicky); granddaughter, Emily Ann Beck (Gill); great granddaughter, Adalyn Beck; brother-in-law, Steve Wolverton; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration life service will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 10:00am at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with military honors. Rev. Bobby Shehan and Rev. Jack Ward will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, https://www.stjude.org/donate. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Charley, please visit our floral store.
