Manuel Franquez

Manuel Franquez, 76, of Fletcher, went home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Valor Hospice at the Charles George VA Medical Center.
Manuel was born July 1, 1949, in San Diego, CA. He was truly a man of valor having served 22 years in the US Army and the remainder of his life in God's Army. The church grounds at Trinity of Fairview will never be the same since he is now tending to the grounds at his Heavenly home. Manuel also served as an outstanding husband, father, pampaw, and servant of the Lord. He was immensely loved by his wife, family, church family and countless friends. Manuel will be greatly missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his father, George Franquez; mother, Ruth Bradley Pauley; sisters, Rhonda Moore and Linda Little; and brother, Mike Minot.
Those left to cherish his memories is his bride of 19 years, Karyn Franquez; children, Amanda Anthony, Angel Franquez, Christopher Guill, Jacqueline Franquez (Kevin), Karl Franquez (Yvonne), and Mani Franquez II; sisters, Suzan Mead (Tim) and Tina Flores; brother, Mike Pauley; grandchildren, Gavin, Jayden, Josie, Liam, Logan, Marceline, Nellie, Sterling, and Winnie; and numerous brothers and sisters in Christ.
A celebration of Manuel's life will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 11:00am at Trinity of Fairview, 646 Concord Road, Fletcher, NC 28732. Pastors Stacey Harris and Adam Guice will be officiating.
The burial will be Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 2:00pm at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain with military honors.
