Born December 17, 1940, in Cumberland, MD, Charlie was the son of the late Roy Edward Robinson, and Geneva (Henderson) Robinson. He was also preceded in death by his niece: Kathy Muhleman.
Charlie was a proud 1959 graduate of Allegany High School, was a U.S. Navy Veteran, having been stationed in Norfolk, VA, onboard the USS Valley Forge from 1959 to 1961. He was a super fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Baltimore Orioles; and a huge chevy guy loving his '87 Monte Carlo SS. Charlie retired from CSX as a Safety Supervisor after 30 years of service.
Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 59 years: Donna Robinson; his children: Jerry Robinson (Jan); Sherry Root (James); Terry Robinson (Doug); and Jenn Roddy; his grandchildren: Kaitlin McKenzie (Corey); Brady Robinson (Ryan); Nicholas Bowers (Adeline); Marcus Bowers (Nicole); Darian Roddy; Zeke Roddy; Griffin Robinson: Ella May Robinson; and Corbyn Roddy; his sister: Vivian Muhleman (Dave); his brother: Gary Robinson (Cathy); as well as several loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at the Cumberland Moose Lodge # 271, 81 Cumberland St. Wiley Ford, WV on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
