Charlie Wagoner, 78, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was born May 29, 1944 in Fort Smith to the late Boyd and Lorene (Wibbing) Wagoner. He was a machinist, a member of Butterfield Assembly of God, and was an ordained minister.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Edward Wagoner.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Wagoner of the home; two daughters, Regina Gail Syfert and Celeste Yvonne Wagoner, both of Van Buren; a son, Jeffery Thomas Boyd Wagoner of Burns Flat, OK; a sister-in-law, Juanita "Bug" Wagoner of Bloomer; seven grandchildren, Michael Moore (Jamie) of Van Buren, Travis Moore (Angela) of Van Buren, T.J. Moore (Audrey) of Florida, Amber Minckler (Daniel) of Schertz, TX, Thomas Boyde Wagoner of Wichita Falls, TX, Joshua Raymond Siler of Houston, and Grayson Wyatt Wagoner of Burns Flat, OK; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2023 at Butterfield Assembly of God with interment to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Cemetery in Rudy, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Josh Rich, Colten Mays, Greg Rose, JR Smith, Jeff Meyers, and Steve Selman.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
