Charlie Bascom Weeks, age 79, of Blacksburg, died Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Heritage Hall Blacksburg.
He was born in Russell County, Virginia on June 19, 1943, to the late Dewey and Artie Kegley Weeks. He is also preceded in death by brothers Guy, Raymond, and Willie, and sisters Frances, Margie, and Leona.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Frances Cupp Weeks, brother-in-law Everett Scott Cupp and wife Colleen, nephews John Weeks and wife Kimberly, Kyle Bascom Cupp and Ryan Cupp. One sister Mary Weeks Musick and numerous extended family.
Charlie was a longtime member of the Episcopal Faith. He served six years in the Army Reserves. He retired from the Arsenal after thirty-five years of dedicated service. He was also an advocate and fierce supporter of the feline population.
Charlie was a quiet, dapper gentleman, and he will be missed.
Private Services will be held at Westview Cemetery

Francis this is Vic sheppard I worked with Charlie at the plant for many years and enjoyed many high school football games with him so sorry for your loss he will be greatly missed
