Charlie Wilkerson Obituary
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 22, 1939, the son of the late Charlie and Eva Brown Wilkerson.
Charlie had worked as a timber cutter for JB Smith Logging. In his spare time he enjoyed playing checkers, playing his harmonica, and riding his bicycle. Charlie also enjoyed going to Walmart and talking with others.
He departed this life on Friday, May 16, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 85 years, 6 months, and 24 days.
Charlie is survived by his children, Susie Owens (Keith), Steve Wilkerson (Tina), David Wilkerson, and Sherry Copeland (Larry); and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Mitsy Kelley and Becky Wilkerson; three sons, Donnie Wilkerson, Timmy Wilkerson, and Tracy Wilkerson; two sisters, Alta Lee and Earline Kilburn; and four brothers, Bobby Wilkerson, Hardin Wilkerson, Boyd Wilkerson, and J. C. Wilkerson.
