Charlie Wilson Obituary
Mr. Charlie Wilson, 93, born August 25, 1928, was the son of the late John Henry Wilson and Viola Jackson Wilson. He departed this life peacefully at the Ridge Road Intensive Care Facility (ICF) on Thursday, February 10, 2022.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, John T. Wilson, Sr., Odell Wilson, Christopher Columbus Wilson, Benjamin Wilson, Billy Wilson, and Woodrow Wilson: three sisters, Katherine Slater, Zora Mae Avery, and Katie Caldwell.
He leaves to cherish fond memories, one brother, Arthur (Clara) Wilson of Simpsonville, SC; three nieces raised in the home, Willie Pearl Arant of Charlotte, NC, Bobbie Simmons of Greenville, SC and Angela Manigault of Easley, SC; five foster brothers and sisters; three sisters-in-law; Margaret Wilson of Greenville, SC, Eloise Wilson, and Clara Wilson both of Simpsonville, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Sunday, February 20, 2022, 1:00pm at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary with interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
