Charlie Wilson of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the age of 68. He was born on Thursday, May 3, 1956 in Durant, Oklahoma to Ollie Wilson and Deritha Frances (Gilmore) Hebert.
He was a lifelong resident of Durant, Oklahoma. He married Tammy Lynn (Lindsay) Wilson on September 20, 1990 in Durant, Oklahoma and have been married for 34 years.
Charlie was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program with the Calera Community Center for over 9 years. He loved to play dominos, fish, and work on cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ollie Wilson and Deritha Frances (Gilmore) Hebert; son Charles Wilson Jr.; brother Timothy Taylor; sister Mary Hebert; aunt Judy; uncles Kenneth and Ronnie.
Survivors include his wife Tammy Wilson of the home; daughters Mary Ann Wilson of Texas, Desiree Wilson of Texas; sisters Patricia Wilson of Irving, Texas, Connie Taylor of Colbert, Oklahoma, Misty Ervin of Calera, Oklahoma, Caroln Parolyn of Michigan, Christel Hebert of Silo, Oklahoma; brother James Wilson of Colbert, Oklahoma; aunt Kay Chandler of Durant, Oklahoma; uncle Donnie Sewell and wife Lanetta of Boswell, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Lisa Williams; cousin Becky Wright of Calera, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren as well as other extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at The Gordon Center in Durant, Oklahoma with bro. Jesse West officiating.
