Charlotte Bignotti Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Spangler Mortuary - Los Altos Chapel on Jan. 19, 2025.
Charlotte Bignotti, a Native Californian, was born on March 31st, 1950 to her parents Al and Olga Bignotti. She was 74 years young at the time of her passing on December 19th, 2024. Charlotte had a zest for life-someone who lit up a room when she would enter it with her beautiful smile and vivacious personality. She grew up and spent most of her life in Mountain View, California. She went to Mountain View High School. She was a Bay Area office manager and realtor for many years.
She shined as a mother to her Daughter, Gina Biegel who was as close to her daughter as one can be especially the last decade and the loss is quite deep and vast. Gina will miss her mom so very dearly and hold her in her heart and mind for the rest of her life. Her sister, Barbara Johnson, and brother, Kenneth Bignotti will also keep her near and dear to their hearts. Charlotte has also been reunited with her nephew Robert Yates. She was also loved by Steve Brashear, Gina's partner. Those lives she touched, her friends and family, will live on by holding those special times with her.
She adored her pets. She is now with her precious cat, Punkie along with her cat grandbabies Bravest, Squeaks, and Handsome. Her current cat, PB along with her grandpups Zoe, Cleo, and Monte miss her everyday-especially the songs she sang to them, the treats she encouraged, and the brushing of her beloved PB. PB will live with Charlotte's dear friend John Penny who will continue to care for PB as she would have.
She lived a modest life and of the things she had, she loved little nick knacks and trinkets. She loved giving and receiving gifts especially from her daughter. She would often get gifts and not even use them but keep them in the package. She loved to make cute displays with her smalls.
She loved antiques, especially older hats and purses. Her daughter, like her, will continue her tradition of collecting and displaying antiques, and will also make sure snow people are present as she loved snowmen.
