Gerald Baldwin Tutman, 90, of Blairsville, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Wellstar - North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA. Gerald was born February 19, 1935, in San Jose, CA, to Jack Tutman and Phyllis Tutman.

Jerry graduated from Mountain View High School in 1952 and UC Berkeley in 1957 with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. On August 31, 1957, Jerry married the love of his life, Joan Lee Clark. They moved to Virginia for his 2 years of service in the Army at Fort Eustis (1958-60). Jerry was family-oriented and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a travel enthusiast who enjoyed meeting new people. Jerry and Joan, spent over 40 years traveling, many years as full-time RVers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Tutman; father, Jack Tutman; mother, Phyllis Walsh; sister, Nancy Dorsey; and son, Gordon Tutman. He is survived by his sister Lonna Bruener, sister Stephanie Doyle; and children, Jackie Lehle, Naomi (Juergen) Poehler, and Jeff (Jennifer) Tutman. Jerry is also survived by his (8) grandchildren Christopher (Ashlyn) Tutman, Jeffery (Anna) Tutman, Emma Tutman, James Kingsley, Danielle Lehle, Nicole (Joseph) Drescher, Marcus (Claire) Poehler, and Nicholas (Paige) Poehler; (9) great-grandchildren, Cason Tutman, Cora Tutman, Otto Tutman, Jasper Poehler, Jordan Poehler, Hayes Poehler, Henry Drescher, William Drescher, and Sophie Joan Drescher.
