Charlotte Virginia DeVault

March 12, 1951 – August 8, 2025

Charlotte Virginia DeVault passed away August 8, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born on May 12, 1951, in Rhode Island, but called New Jersey home for the majority of her life. She attended Paulsboro High School and graduated in 1968. In her youth, she loved playing softball, hitting up the local bowling alley, and believe it or not, driving her motorcycle.

Charlotte lived a life full of warmth, joy, and laughter. No one was better at taking care of people than she was. Her nurturing presence raised many children, both in her family and in her local neighborhood. She was a loving wife and mother and a bright light in any room she entered. She loved listening to music, cooking, and watching her favorite shows. She had a gentle, caring spirit and never had an unkind thing to say about anyone and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need.

Although she's no longer here with us physically, she'll be remembered and will be in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her husband Stephen DeVault, her children Diana DeVault, Andrew DeVault and wife Jeana, brothers James Collier and wife Holly, David Collier and wife Debbie, sister-in-law Peggy, her stepson Ken and wife Maggie, and also leaves behind four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Laverne, mother Charlotte, and brothers John and Daniel.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.1 Corinthians 13:13 ESV

Steve and family
Sorry to learn of "Sissy's" passing. She was one of my closest friends throughout high school. A kind and giving person, whose smile and laugh would make anyone's day better. Many good times were spent at the Collier household on Pine Street. Prayers and heartfelt sympathy to Sissy's family and friend. Rest in peace, until we meet again.
