Charlotte Elaine Hevron, age 78, of Camas, WA, passed away on Nov. 28, 2023. Charlotte was born on Sept. 22, 1945. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, chatting with friends and family, and power walking around town. Charlotte had a great love for babies and would always be the first with her arms out to hold them.
Charlotte is survived by her loving husband, Lewis Hevron of Camas; son, Daniel (Annie) Hevron of Portland, OR; daughters, Heidi McCarty and Tami Hevron, both of Camas; brother, Keith (Carol) Baker of Washougal, WA; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Elroy and Bernice Baker of Washougal; and brother, Eugene Baker of Camas.
Charlotte’s career spanned over 30 years with the City of Camas ending as deputy treasurer before retiring. She dedicated herself to her work and made a lasting impact on her community.
In her free time, Charlotte enjoyed watching her children, nieces, and nephews play sports. She even took on the role of manager for her daughters’ softball team. Playing cards and board games with loved ones brought her great joy, as did sewing and crocheting.
A memorial service to celebrate Charlotte’s life will be held on Jan. 20, 2024, between 1-4 p.m. at Camas Church of the Nazarene.
