Charlotte Eileen Lehner, 82, passed Sunday September 7, 2025. She was born at her family home in Chesterville, OH to Charles and Leona (James) James on March 28, 1943. She grew up on the farm and had fond memories of gatherings there throughout the years. In 1962 she married Bruce Campbell.

She married Jim Lehner June 26, 2003; Jim and Charlotte were together until his passing in 2011.

Charlotte was the mother of 6 children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her family beyond measure and was so proud of all of them! She attended many sports events over the years for them and was an avid sports fan, enjoying OSU, Browns,Guardians,and Cavs. She was not a quiet fan and got very excited rooting for each team and players!

Charlotte loved animals and rescued too many to count! She leaves 2 dogs, Rosie and Angie, numerous cats, a rabbit and Guinea Pigs. She loved nature and sat for many days, watching her chickens, enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. Her family and her animals inspired her to keep going and truly were the most precious to her.

Charlotte crocheted, sewed and made wonderful meals and was known for her delicious pies!

Charlotte leaves 2 sons and a daughter: Sheldon (Stephanie) Campbell, Lexington OH, Shannon Campbell of Iberia and Shauna White of Marion, daughter-in-law Cynthia Campbell, brother Richard (Fabianita) James, sister, Kathleen (Sam) Darnell, and sister-in-law Harriet Ashton, special friends: Cheryl, Susie, and Jamie. Thank you all for Caring so much!

Grandchildren: Britney Jackson (Demitrius Gray), Brandon Jackson, Caela Campbell (Wade Demanche), Lorin (Raychel) Campbell, Calvin (Katherine) Campbell, Bailey White, Braidey (Wyatt) Fetter, Celeste Campbell, Corbin Campbell, Camryn Campbell, Aliveah Campbell, Dillon Campbell, Great grandchildren: Aaliyah Weldon, Adaisha Weldon, Azair Gray, Akennric Gray, Amorah Gray, Willow Fetter, Violet Fetter, Joel Green, AJ Campbell, and Charlie Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim Lehner, sons: Shane and Shad, daughter Shelley, grandson Carson Campbell, sisters: Ramona Mercer and Jeanine Reed, and brothers-in-law Bob Reed, Carl Mercer and Dick Ashton.

There will be a Celebration of Life service on Sat. September 20, 2025 at 3pm. This will be held at the Open Arms Christian Church 8372 St Rt 61 Galion, Ohio.
