Obituary of Charlotte T. Luksic

Charlotte T. Luksic, 85, Phoenixville

Charlotte Luksic, 85, widow to the late Walter Luksic, passed away peacefully early Sunday June 8, 2025 at home.

One of three sisters, Charlotte was born November 28, 1939 in Clearfield County to the late Peter Mislosky and the late Rose Mislosky Shanechuck. Charlotte and Walter were long time Phoenixville residents and were members of both Sacred Heart Church and St. Basil the Great. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling and nurturing her grandchildren – her legacy. Charlotte kept her hands busy tending to her gardens, puzzles, quilting and caring for others. She met regularly with her Red Hatters and having lunches with her dear friends. Charlotte enjoyed her many travel adventures and was always willing to go shopping.

Charlotte leaves behind her three daughters: Charlene, wife of David McArel from Georgia; Denise, wife of Kerry Burnley of Chester Springs and Cheryl Smola, wife of Larry of Phoenixville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; son, Terry Luksic and sister: Rosemary Bloom.

Charlotte has six grandchildren: Ryan, Eric, Shaina, Austin, Tyler and Jared and five great grandchildren: Blake, Emery, Brooks, Savannah, Parker and Baby Boy on the way.

All are invited to the Funeral service being held at the R. Strunk Funeral Home on Thursday, June 12 at 11 AM. Rev. Miachael Rzonca will preside. Friends are invited to visit with the family prior to the service at 10 AM in the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Charlotte's name.

All arrangements are being handled by the R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Online condolences can be made at www.rstrunkfuneralhome.com

I was extremely fortunate to work with Char in special services at Phoenixville Hospital For many years she was a welcoming receptionist to our patients quickly, putting them at ease about a terrifying procedure. She was always willing to help and go the extra mile with anything that needed to be done in the unit when she went to work at Valley Forge surgical she was dearly missed, but we were happy that she was working with my husband and his crew. Once again, knowledgeable and welcoming, we enjoyed her stories of her children and grandchildren and know how deeply proud she was of all of them. I am sure that everyone knew her will miss her and are affected by her passing. We are sorry that we cannot make it to the funeral but know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire families Elizabeth Rock and Hani Fahmy.

Didn't know Charlotte but heard many stories about her and her children back when I started 7th grade. That's when I met her sister Lorna at school. Will never forget......good memories!
