Charlotte Small Mason entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the age of 77. She was a native of St. Joseph, LA and a resident of Waggaman, LA. Charlotte was a graduate of Tensas Parish School System, and she attended Phillips Jr. College in Business Management. She was a formerly employed as a Manager with Popeyes, Easy Serve and the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Loving mother of Sabrina Mason, Yolanda Mason-Gordon, and Christopher Mason, Sr. Daughter of the late Abe Small, Sr. and Emmarett Hill Skinner. Stepdaughter of the late Samuel Skinner, Sr. Beloved sister of Lela Skinner, Bertha Skinner, Sandra Cormick, Geneva Small, Willie Small, Jerry Small, and the late Azalea, Henry James, Nathaniel, Jessie, Abe, Jr., Samuel, Joseph, John and Gary Small, Peggy Small Pinkston, and Vickie Small Ward. Niece of Brenda Hill Doty, Hershey Hill, Richard, Hill, and Darren Hill. Mother-in-law of Jennifer Mason and Danny Gordon. Sister-in-law of Pastor John Mason, Sr., Lionel Mason, Sr., Eunice Slocum and Tanya Small. Charlotte is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
