Charlotte Roberta Mulson

Mrs. Charlotte Roberta McLean Mulson, age 82, a resident of Belington more recently a resident of the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center departed this life Monday afternoon January 6, 2025 in the care facility. Death was following a period of declining health.
She was born August 3, 1942 at Belington, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence Aretus and Reta Summie Poling McLean. On October 15, 1964 she was united in marriage to James Edward Mulson, who preceded her in death on November 19, 2014.
She is survived by a daughter; Tammy Ross and husband Brian of Belington, a brother; Clarence Junior McLean of Belington, two grandchildren; Whitney Hymes and husband Joe and Seth Ross and wife of Kelsie all of Belington, three great-grandchildren; Lillian Hymes, Carter Lewis and Stetson Ross. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters; Eileen Goode, Rosalee Sipe, Edna Corley and Carol Moyes, three brothers; Donnie Ray McLean, Arley McLean and Alva McLean and an infant sister.
Charlotte was a graduate from the Belington High School with the class of 1961 and was a member of the Sugar Creek Church in Belington. She was a school cook for the Barbour County School System for many years and she also worked at in-home elder care. She could often be seen at Dianne's Restaurant in Belington, where she loved socializing with her friends. She enjoyed farming but her favorite hobby was doing puzzles. She loved her family very much and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends will be received from the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington on Friday January 10, 2025 from 11 AM – 2 PM the funeral hour where final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Pastor Chris DeBarr officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery near Belington. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Sugar Creek Church 2396 Morgantown Pike Belington, WV 26250.
