Charlotte Ann Nedved of Sioux Falls, SD passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Avera McKennan Hospital, at the age of 78 years.
Funeral service and interment will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Czech National Cemetery, Tyndall, South Dakota, with the Rev. Val Putnam officiating.
Charlotte Ann Nedved was born on July 18, 1947, in Yankton, South Dakota to Leo and Marguerite (Alford) Nedved. She graduated from Tyndall High School, then attended South Dakota State University. Charlotte worked for many years at Avera McKennan Hospital in the medical records department.
Charlotte had many hobbies ranging from genealogy to sewing and quilting. Her children remember spending many days making trips to cemeteries and doing lead pencil rubbings of head stones. They also remember spending many hours at craft stores around the Midwest.
Grateful for having shared her life are her three sons, William Leiferman and his wife, Michele, Sioux Falls, SD, Ronald Leiferman and his wife, Patricia, Stone Mountain, GA and Jeremy Leiferman and his husband, Drew Jensen, Duluth, MN; her granddaughter, Joan (Leiferman) Roberts; along with her siblings: Duane Nedved of Parker, SD, Jerome Nedved of Tyndall, SD, Gloria Nedved of Denver, CO, Richard Nedved of Tyndall, SD, and John Nedved of Tyndall, SD, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Marguerite Nedved in 2002 and two brothers, Bruce Nedved in 1956, and Alan Nedved in 2007.
In lieu of flowers, Charlotte may be honored with memorial donations to the Tyndall Public Library.
