Charlotte Dorothy Sevedge
Las Vegas – Charlotte Sevedge passed away from complications of COPD, while sleeping at home on August 3, 2025. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 29, 1938 to Charles and Mary (Abramo) DiStefano.
Charlotte graduated High School 1956, and married Henry Tufo. Before divorcing, they had a son and a daughter, John and Susan.
Charlotte later married William K. Sevedge Jr, on Cape Cod, Massachusetts July 28, 1965. They celebrated 60 years and 5 days together. They have one son, William III, named after his father. Once their son was out of primary school, Charlotte worked as a supervisor in Microfiche for Hughes Aircraft until her retirement in 1988. Family and friends fondly referred to Charlotte as Char or Charlie. Char would often be found cooking, crafting, watching old movies or listening to her stories.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son John, daughter Susan, her two brothers Jerry and James, and her sister Liana
Surviving besides her husband William Jr, is her son William III, daughter in-law Laura, their son William IV, his wife Meghan and their two daughters Daisy and Lilian.
John Tufo and his wife Gloria had three sons, Angel, Jarren and Gavin. They now have five grandchildren with one on the way. Susan and her husband John Plante had a daughter Michelle. They now have two grandchildren.
All together Charlotte had five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Charlotte is also leaving behind her brother, Charles Jr, and sisters, Annette and Susan. Char had many cousins, nieces and nephews too many to name them all.
There will be no service or remembrance. We as the family have taken this hard enough.
