Donald Sevedge Obituary
Doanld Lee Sevedge, Sr., 88, of Ada, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, at his home. He was born March 15, 1936, in Malvern, Arkansas, to Lee Olin and Iris Calhoun Sevedge.
Mr. Sevedge proudly served in the United States Air Force, including two tours during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he went on to dedicate his life to ministry, serving as the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Altus, Oklahoma, until his retirement.
He is survived by his three sons, Mike Sevedge and wife Gayle, Vernon Sevedge and wife Linda, and Dony Sevedge and husband Aristides; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Virginia Sevedge; daughter, Donna Sevedge; and son, William Sevedge.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Oklahoma. Mike Sevedge will officiate. Burial will follow at Altus City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Nick Sevedge, Vernon Sevedge, Jonathan Sevedge, Carlos Alexander, Kyle Alexander, and Keith Daggs.
