Charlotte A. Smith, 74, of Bern Twp., passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026 in her residence. She was the wife of Andrew C. Smith. They were married September 22, 1979 and celebrated 46 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Blanche Sassor. She graduated from Holy Name High School in 1969; and then attended 2 years of McCann Business School. She worked at Penske for 10 years; and later worked as a sales representative in the Men's Department at Boscov's, retiring in 2020. She enjoyed painting, coloring, and doing puzzles. Charlotte enjoyed traveling to casinos; and to Las Vegas. She also enjoyed bird watching; and loved her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons: Michael A. D'Amico, husband of Elizabeth (Perez), Spring Twp.; Jonathan A. Smith, Bern Twp., and Andrew T. Smith, Bern Twp. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Carlos, Erica, Elizabeth, and Michael; eight great-grandchildren; and her brother: Edward Sassor, Florida. She was predeceased by her brothers: Victor, Charles, and William; and a sister: Sylvia.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will also be private in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
