Charlotte Marie Stapleton passed from this life on September 30, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on April 22, 1938, Charlotte lived a life marked by generosity in spirit, in how she loved, and in how she spent her time. She loved deeply and gave freely, embodying kindness and compassion in all that she did.

A woman of unwavering faith, Charlotte was devoted to her church family and dedicated much of her life to serving her Lord and Savior. Whether she was preparing meals for church potlucks or simply being present whenever the doors were open, she found joy and purpose in giving her time and energy to others.

Beyond her church, Charlotte enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She loved going to the movies and often spent the day thrifting with family and friends before showtime. While she delighted in finding unique treasures and charming décor, it was the time spent with loved ones that meant the most to her.

Charlotte also had a deep love for music. Whether singing hymns in church or humming in the kitchen while preparing meals for her family, music was woven into the fabric of her daily life. Her bright smile and joyful spirit will be dearly missed in every space she once filled.

Charlotte is survived by her son, Monty Garmon, and his wife, Liliana; her daughter, Karen Monhann; her grandchildren Monty, Rebecca, and Collie Garmon, Christian Garza, Gisella Mendenhall, Brannon Krueger, and Mellissa Edwards; her sister, Bonnie; as well as a host of great-grandchildren and other beloved family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Tracey Sudduth, sisters, Lottie and Ruby (and Ruby's husband, Vick), and her brother, Haskell (and his wife, Anna).

Charlotte's legacy of love, faith, and generosity lives on in all who knew her.
