Charlotte Jean Walsh, 77, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on October 17, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.
Charlotte was born in McAllen, Texas to Harold and Virginia Miller on December 29, 1947. She graduated from Harlingen High School in 1966. She went on to attend classes at Howard Payne College in Brownwood, Texas, where she met her beloved husband, Allen Walsh, who she married in 1968. Charlotte was the foundation of strength for her family. Charlotte and Allen were an unbreakable team, always in each other's corner. She was the proud, devoted mother to three sons, who will forever cherish her memory.
Charlotte was actively involved in her Sunday School class, several church ministries, and served a term as Trustee of Trinity Baptist Church. She loved her stitching group and the dear friends with whom she spent more time talking than stitching. She also cherished her annual trip with her friends from Harlingen High School. Charlotte was kind and welcoming to all, generously volunteered her time and money, and was a friend to everyone she met.
Charlotte is survived by her husband of 57 years, Allen Walsh, of San Antonio. She is also survived by her three sons Mark (Katie), Kevin (Kristin), and Blake (Sarah) Walsh, sister Susan Cisek, grandchildren Jake, Lucas, Hudson, Nolan, Emily, Meredith, and Vivienne, and nieces Summer Stone, Kristen Davis, and Debi Beasley. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Miller and Virgina Strader, her sister Carolyn Bohannon, and niece Tammy Casey.
A memorial service will be held in the sanctuary of Trinity Baptist Church in San Antonio on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 4 p.m., with Pastor Les Hollon officiating. A reception will be held at the Church immediately following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, if you feel led, please donate to the charity of your choice.
